Legendary singer Baapi Lahiri Sir passed away this morning
Bappi da was known for popularising Disco in Bollywood and churning out several evergreen numbers.

We woke up today with deplorable news about incredible performer vocalist Bappi Lahiri dying. He was 69 years of age. Bappi da was known for advocating Disco in Bollywood and producing a few evergreen numbers.
Only a couple of days back, we saw unbelievable vocalist Lata Mangeshkar leaving us. Presently, one more famous character from the Indian music industry has surrendered, passing on a major void to fill. Supposedly, Bappi Da was released on Monday subsequent to being in medical clinic for a month. Tragically, subsequent to getting back, his wellbeing crumbled.
Discussing Bappi Lahiri's demise, Dr. Deepak Namjoshi, head of CritiCare Hospital (where Bappi da inhaled his last), said, "Lahiri had been conceded to the clinic for a month and was released on Monday. However, his wellbeing crumbled on Tuesday and his family required a specialist to visit their home. He was brought to the clinic. He had numerous medical problems. He passed on because of OSA (obstructive rest apnea) in the blink of an eye before 12 PM," according to PTI.
Bappi Lahiri was a notable character even external India. He has given evergreen hits like Tamma, Gori Hai Kalaiyan, Disco Dancer, and some more. His last melody was Bhankas from Baaghi 3. Stay tuned to Koimoi.
