Angelina Jolie Wants To Sell Château Miraval Co-Owned With Brad Pitt

Angelina’s legal team also claims that Château Miraval belongs only to her since it was purchased before her wedding to Bradd Pitt in 2014.

According to recent reports, the 46 year-old actress wants Brad and her French château and winery Chateau Miraval. She claims Pitt is trying to stop her.

According to US Weekly court documents, Angelina Jolie's lawyer claimed that Angelina Jolie cannot sell the winery despite finding a buyer. This is because Brad Pitt has not consented to lifting the ATRO. ATRO (Automatic Temporary Restraining Order) prohibits one party from making financial decisions that could harm the other during the divorce proceedings.

According to the above-mentioned website, Angelina Jolie's attorney filed a written declaration that read, "After all those years of trying to get out of being business partners with my ex-husband on acceptable terms, Ms. Jolie is very desirous to close the pending agreement for sale of Nouvel, LLC and requests that the Court lift the ATROs and specifically state that they will not apply to Ms. Jolie sale of Nouvel, LLC."

According to reports, Angelina Jolie had filed an emergency application on June 30 to remove the ATRO. The judge found that Angelina Jolie's legal team couldn't prove there was an "immediate threat/irreparable injury or immediate loss/damage of property."

Angelina's legal team claims Chateau Miraval is her property since it was bought before she married Brad Pitt in 2014. Ironically, this is also the exact spot Brad and Angie exchanged vows to be husband and wife.
