Amol Palekar, a veteran actor, is making a comeback with his digital debut in the film "200 - Halla Ho". The actor discusses the importance of the story, and why he was a part of it.

Palekar stated, "I liked Palekar's script because it dealt with the caste issue that has remained hidden in Indian cinema. It is important that the focus is not on the social victimhood of women and caste while the script deals with oppression. This is a tribute for these women's protest against patriarchy and caste atrocities.
Amol Palekar said, "The movie was inspired by true events which were more enjoyable than telling a story." My character, a retired Dalit judge, is multilayered and was finetuned through poignant deliberations.
Produced and directed by Sarthak Diegupta by Yoodlee Films (the film production arm at Saregama), '200 – Halla Ho' stars Amol Palekar. It also features Barun Sobti and Rinku Rajguru, Sahil Khantar, Saloni Batra and Indraneil Sungupta.
ZEE5 will release the film on August 20th.
