Megastar Amitabh Bachchan celebrated his 79th birthday on Monday, and shared an amazing photo from his Instagram account to celebrate his birthday. But It was the comment made by his child Shweta Bachchan Nanda's tweet that caught the attention of many.

Just before his day of birthday celebrations, Amitabh Bachchan announced that the actor has ended his contract with a pan masala company in the belief that he wasn't aware that it was 'falling under surrogate marketing'.

A statement made by Amitabh stated: "'Kamala Pasand '... just a few days after the advertisement was airing the actor Bachchan approached the company and decided to pull himself out of the commercial this week.

"Upon investigating the reason for this sudden change it was found out that at the time Mr. Bachchan was tagged to the company, he was not aware that the brand falls under the surrogate advertising category."

The Amitabh Bachchan office's statement added: "Mr Bachchan has terminated the agreement with the Brand and has informed them of his end date and returned the funds he received from this promotion."

His current work is comprised of 'Jhund "BrahmAstra and 'Mayday' "Goodbye" and "Uunchai," along with Nag the unnamed film of Ashwin.
