Today, as Alia Bhatt turns 28, we take a look at the many times she looked like a goddess in Indian attires

Today is Alia Bhatt's one-year birthday. While we are all sending her lots of love and best wishes on this special day, she is undeniably an inspiration to us throughout the year. Alia is a fashion inspiration due to her commitment to her job and achievements such as owning her own home, production company, and more before she turns 30.
In high-end fashion, the Gully Boy actress has slayed the red carpets, movie premieres, promotional events, and a slew of other social gatherings. She can rock everything from western looks like pantsuits, skirts, and gowns to Indian styles like sarees, suits, and lehengas.
Today, as Alia Bhatt celebrates her 28th birthday, we take a look back at the many times she dressed up as a goddess in Indian garb. Take a look at the pictures below to see proof!
Baby pink Lehenga
Alia Bhatt chose a baby pink shade from Madhurya Creations for Diwali 2020. The prints on the lehenga were made from children's drawings from AOL free schools, as it was also Children's Day. Over the course of four months, 13 karigars worked with 35 children to create the ensemble, which was made entirely of waste organic cloth.
Doesn't she look beautiful? Hanging jhumkas, a couple of bangles, and a small black bindi completed her ensemble. The natural makeup and nude pink lips, combined with her hair pulled back in a messy bun, screams GORGEOUS!
Multicolour strip saree
Alia Bhatt wore a multi-colored, stripped Sabyasachi saree to an award show honouring the success of Gully Boy, which I adore. Who knew any of these colours could be combined without looking tacky or out of place?
This Sabyasachi creation is elevated by the neatly tied bun with a centre parting, minimal lipstick, and bushy brows. Her only accessories were those heavy, dangling earrings, and we adore her for it.
Pink Lehenga
Alia Bhatt looked beautiful – a little more than average – in this Manish Malhotra production back in February. The skirt was packed with intriguing patterns and had a border of stonework that matched the dupatta and consisted of a pink criss-cross pattern work blouse.
Her flawless makeup, which includes pink lips, kohl-lined lashes, and blush, gives her an angelic appearance. The plain waves with a mang tikka in the centre parting scream and remind us that less is enough. There's no need to go crazy with your style.
White Punjabi suit
Although there's no denying how beautiful Alia Bhatt looks in heavy Indian outfits and designs, she also proved that she can pull off easy looks. Alia's wardrobe was nice and clean for the Kalank promotions. Anita Dongre's strappy Punjabi suit was chosen by the star.
Her bold lips and loose hair just add to our admiration for her and her sense of style. The actress wore pale blue and silver jhumkas with her plain white ensemble, which featured minimal floral works in a silvery hue. Is there something you like and don't like?
Pink & Green Saree
We're sure you'll get a line of guys asking for your hand if you copy Alia Bhatt's look – with the same attitude. Forget the guys; their mothers will undoubtedly be drawn to you because it exudes charm, purity, and grace. On the green stuff, Tarun Tahiliani's creation has interesting pink prints and patterns, as well as yellow-golden circles and diamonds.
The actress completed the look with a green statement mang tikka and a red blouse with miniature gold prints. Pink eye shadow with a smoky effect, pink lips, and a slightly messy pony were her choices.
Yellow suit
Another outfit from the Kalank promotions that I liked was this flared yellow suit by designer Manish Malhotra. The outfit is light and breezy, with embroidery lacework in a rich yellow-golden hue.
The actress went for two braids with a centre parting that ended in a loose clipped up style, channelling her inner desi girl. She wore chandelier jhumkas that screamed Punjabi pataka in the accessory department. Her only accessories were minimal makeup and a plain bindi.
The Toga Saree
Sabyasachi's Toga saree style is a whole new dimension of beauty, elegance, and styling. The cyan and teal blue prints against a mustardy-gold background are a sight to behold, and Alia Bhatt pulled it off flawlessly.
An oversized dreamcatcher style earring was worn with the backless ensemble, which had several layers and gathers. Alia wore her hair in a ponytail and kept her makeup plain, opting for nude lips and a shimmery eye shadow.
Yellow Lahenga
Alia Bhatt wore this Sabyasachi yellow lehenga to Akash Ambani and Shloka Ambani's reception in March 2019. And we have to admit, she nailed it with her summer festive ensemble. The embroidered designs, which are all the same shade of yellow, exude not only elegance but also royalty.
A simple low bun, kohl eyes, a beautiful choker neckpiece, and a tiny black bindi completed her look. Isn't she demonstrating that an outfit can be made to stand out with minimal effort?
White and Gold Suit
Alia Bhatt wears this Punit Balana creation with a simple look that screams elegance and beauty. The bodice of this suit, which is mostly white, has a repeated pattern in a bland gold-mustard hue. A sprinkle of dots decorates the bottom half of the top, elevating the otherwise simple gathered look to a new level.
You should have a transparent dupatta with matching gold-mustard embroidered work in your wardrobe. She finished the look with Nora Jewels hanging earrings and Stoffa Indian footwear. She wore her hair in a bun to keep the emphasis on her dress.
Maroon Suit
Alia Bhatt wore a custom-made maroon suit from designer Sabyasachi to an event in Kolkata. Velvet, organza, antique embroidery, and spaghetti straps abound in this look, which we adore.
The maroon outfit with gold prints on the kurti and dupatta will transport you to another age. Trust me when I say that velvet pyjamas are not for all. With gold earring and pinks, she completed the look.
