Aayush spoke out earlier in January about sustaining an injury while filming the film.

Mahesh Mahesh Manjrekar spoke out about Aayush Sharma. He said that he loved him because he was possessed. For him, 'Antim was either do or die. He was so committed to the character that he became Rahuliya. One day, I was forced to leave early because only a few minor sequences of action were left. So I returned home.

Mahesh Manjrekar added that he had accidentally struck a camera in an action scene and thereby broken his fingers. We had many scenes and shots in the queue so I was worried. But I was amazed that he completed the shoot with his broken hand. It was obvious that he was in great pain, but he still managed to finish the shoot.

"Another thing, because he fractured the hand, the concern is to keep continuity. As at that moment, he was the Rahuliya in the second half, where his ripper physique is more apparent, I thought that he wouldn’t be able exercise with that hand but he still managed."

Manjrekar knew that Aayush Sharma was suffering from pain. He stated that he could see Aayush Sharma tie his wrist, exercise and execute every shot perfectly. It can be a very jarring feeling to have your hand broken, which makes it difficult to express yourself in character. He was so involved in the role that he forgot about the pain.

Aayush Sharma and Salman Khan will share screen space for the first time. Salman Khan Films presents 'Antim'. It is directed by Mahesh Mahesh Manjrekar and produced by Salma Khan.
